The company was established in 2005. It all started when Mr Neels Botha (Snr), an ex-Fire Chief from Akasia Municipality retired after 33 years in The Service to begin a new business venture in Port Elizabeth. In 2008 Neels Botha (Snr) became the sole owner and managed to grow the company to become one of the leading insurance service providers in Port Elizabeth. Throughout his career, he built up an impressive client base and has become an expert in his field. His knowledge and expertise have been a result of being a “hands-on” owner and working with his men and not merely overseeing the work being done.

The Company expanded to Cape Town in 2017 and is successfully managed by the “sons” Mr Neels Botha (Jnr) and Jannie Botha.

Misty Sea is committed to its clients by ensuring that the training skills of its employees are updated on a regular basis. We have vast experience in the handling of all insurance peril related claims, committed to mitigate material loss and attend to reinstatement according to insurance service level agreements and rating guidelines.

Our company has two departments, consisting of plumbing and building.
